RUSSELS. - Last Sunday, the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) held its 6th parliamentary elections in order to elect its 33 MP’s. With 102.034 registered voters and 72.296 votes (a turnout of 70.6%, higher from last election’s 69.2%), the pro-presidential parties retained its control over the parliament. The Free Motherland Party received the 47,35% of the votes, the Artsakh Democratic Party (European Free Alliance associated member) received the 19.01%, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation the 18,81%, and the opposition parties Movement 88 and National Renaissance received the 6,93% and 5,38% respectively.
